Unhurried Retreat

June 11 - 14th | River Mountain Resort | Everett, PA

If everything in your life feels like it’s moving too fast, this is your place to slow down.

You’re keeping up with everything you need to. Your calendar is full. Your responsibilities are real. From the outside, it probably looks like you’re handling it well — managing work, relationships, decisions, all of it. But underneath that, there’s a different feeling.

Like your mind never fully settles.
Like you’re constantly moving from one thing to the next.
Like there’s no real space to breathe, let alone think clearly.

And even when you try to slow down, it doesn’t last.
The pace always finds you again.

Unhurried is a weekend to interrupt that pace.

This is a 4-day, 3-night retreat designed to give you something that’s hard to find in daily life: space.

Not a packed schedule.
Not a pressure-filled reset.
Not a place where you have to become a “better version” of yourself.

Just space to:

  • slow down your body

  • clear your mind

  • spend time outside

  • move gently

  • and exist in a rhythm that doesn’t require you to rush

Picture this…

Mornings that begin with gentle movement and breath work.
Walking to eat a nourishing breakfast before spending time outdoors.
Having unstructured space to read in hammocks, lay in the sun, or do nothing at all.
Shared meals and conversations around the campfire under the stars.
Evenings that wind down — not up.

This is the offering of the Unhurried Retreat.

Is this you?

  • You've been moving so fast that you've lost touch with what you actually want — and you're ready to finally slow down long enough to remember.

  • You crave real connection with people who get it — who are also done pretending that being busy is the same as being fulfilled.

  • You want a mindfulness practice that actually fits into your real life, not one that requires two hours and a silent room.

  • You're starting to understand that rest isn't a reward for productivity — it's an act of resistance — and you're ready to truly experience what that feels like in your body.

  • You're tired of showing up on empty for the people you love, and you're ready to learn how rest makes you a better partner, parent, friend, and human.

Then the Unhurried Retreat was designed with you in mind.

The reality is rest isn’t just one thing — it’s seven; and we need them all.

There are 7 types of rest that we need to cultivate well-being, and sleep only touches on one of them.

During our retreat we’ll not just go over all 7 types of rest: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Sensory, Creative, Emotional, and Social. But we have activities designed to allow you to experience them.

From our Tea Ceremony, presented by Rise & Ritual, which will engage your taste buds to our Self-Massage workshop, hosted by the founder of Joint Joint, where you’ll learn how soothing touch can be — you’ll learn practical and sustainable tools for stress reduction and recovery.

When you leave, you’ll not only feel rested and restored but you’ll have the tools to create a sustainable practice of rest that fits you and the life that you want.

Where You’ll Stay & Pricing

For this retreat everyone will be staying in glamping yurts. Each yurt has 2 Queen sized beds and can fit 2-4 people. All yurts provide heat, air conditioning, and electricity. About the Tiers

  • Community Rate is intended for those who need a lower financial barrier to attend

  • Standard Rate reflects the true cost of putting together the retreat

  • Sustainer Rate helps fund partial scholarships and supports the labor required to create a well-held container
